That's why we built this series. Four live workshops a year, one for each phase of the journey, all led by Alan Briggs and our team of expert coaches.     The final preparation workshop for leaders four to twelve weeks from their start date.

    We work through the final readiness checklist: your team handoff, your family conversations, your sabbatical structure, your heart preparation. You leave with a working plan, not just teaching.

    This is the practical, in-depth session for leaders who are about to step into their sabbatical.

  • Leading After Sabbatical

    Date: October 2026

    Sabbatical was the gift. Now what?

    We focus on translating sabbatical insights into sustainable leadership rhythms. How you delegate differently. How you protect rest going forward. How you lead from a different center.

    This workshop is also the natural bridge to ongoing leadership coaching for leaders ready to keep building.

Alan Briggs founded Sabbatical Coaching Group and wrote The Sabbatical Journey field guide. He's a three-time sabbatical veteran and has coached more than seventy leaders through their own. Alan teaches this workshop personally, drawing on the same framework we use with every coaching client.
